DARK MATTER is a brand new world of immersive light installations in which the boundaries between the real and the digital worlds become blurred. Created by Christopher Bauder and WHITEvoid, the producers of the Lichtgrenze for the 25th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, as well as the renowned large-scale lights installations SKALAR and DEEP WEB.

SKALAR is an immersive large-scale art installation created by light artist Christopher Bauder and musician Kangding Ray.

A monumental audio-visual kinetic art installation SKALAR by light artist Christopher Bauder and musician Kangding Ray was presented in Amsterdam in January 2020.

This large-scale artistic production is a collaboration between Berlin's design and art studio WHITEvoid, Amsterdam electronic music promoters Audio Obscura and one of the city’s most important cultural venues, Westergas. After being presented in Berlin and Mexico City where it delighted many thousands of people with its blend of kinetic mirrors, perfectly synchronized moving lights and intense sonic soundscapes, SKALAR was shown in the iconic Gashouder in Amsterdam from January 10 to February 5, 2020.

SKALAR reshaped the landscape of exhibitions by bringing a moving audio-visual installation and art show to the iconic Gashouder in Amsterdam. As a special highlight, Christopher Bauder and Kanding Ray played several exclusive SKALAR live shows — an expanded and intensified version of the exhibition cycle. The artists brought choreographed light and electronic music to life in real-time. Every live show was a unique experience.
